Celebrations of the sacred liturgy are planned by the Pastor in coordination with the liturgical ministries. The Liturgy Committee assists the Pastor with planning and implementing the various aspects of liturgical activities in the parish according to the liturgical feasts and seasons of the Church. The Liturgy Committee at Saint Andrew’s is composed of the Pastor, Deacons, Director of Music, and a representative of each of the following liturgical ministries: Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion; Lectors; Ushers; Sacristans; and Altar Servers.

Responsibilities:

• To discern the parish’s worship/liturgical/prayer needs
• To coordinate the planning and scheduling of the liturgical celebrations for seasonal and special celebrations
• To coordinate, support, and evaluate all liturgical ministries in the parish
