Registration and Tuition

Tuition

SMART Tuition Management Services is our agent for tuition collection. All families are required to participate in the SMART program. The only exception is for families who pay their tuition in full by July 15, 2008. Families that pay in full by that date will receive a 2% discount. Please notify the rectory business office by June 1, 2008 if you are paying in full.

If you are currently enrolled in St. Andrew's and are not making any changes, you do NOT have to do anything. If you wish to change your method or dates of payment, you will have to fill out a new SMART enrollment form.

New families will receive an enrollment form and further information. The deadline for enrollment and changes in the SMART program is June 1, 2008. Please send the completed forms to the rectory office at the above address. Book fees and the playground fee are included in the tuition. Your $300 registration deposit and the Maryland book credit ($35.90 per child for 2007-08) are deducted from your tuition. The registration deposit for the following school year will be due at the time of re-registration (usually February 1.)

TUITION POLICY STATEMENT: St. Andrew's School reserves the right to cancel the registration of any student whose family fails to satisfactorily meet tuition payments by their due date, and to withhold the student's school records. This applies for all grades, K through 8. Please refer to the St. Andrew Apostle School Parent/Student Handbook.

The SCHOOL PARENT SUPPORT PROGRAM is an obligation of each family at St. Andrew's School. Each family must:

1. Pay $50 to St. Andrew Parent Association AND must do one of the following:
2. Volunteer 25 hours of service during the school year.  OR
3. Contribute an additional $375 to St. Andrew Parents Association. This amount is separate from tuition.  OR
4. Volunteer hours and contribute money such that the total contribution is $375, with volunteer hours valued at $15 per hour.

Failure to fulfill the requirements of the The SCHOOL PARENT SUPPORT PROGRAM will be treated as unpaid tuition.

Category I families include all actively participating registered parishioners. Category II families include non-active parishioners, non-parishioners and non-Catholics.

Saint Andrew Apostle Elementary School

The Elementry School registration form was updated on January 22, 2008 for the 2008-2009 school year. The Kindergarten registration form was updated on January 22, 2008 for the 2008-2009 school year. Please print the necessary registration forms, fill them in and and mail them, along with your check for the non-refundable registration fee of $300.00 per family. The $300.00 will be deducted from your tuition.

Saint Andrew Apostle Pre-School

The Pre-School registration forms were updated on January 22, 2008 for the 2008-2009 school year. Please print a registration form for the 3 year old program or the 4 year old program, fill it in and mail it, along with your check for the non-refundable registration fee of $300.00 per family. Your registration fee of $300.00 will be deducted from your tuition.

The annual tuition is divided into nine (9) payments with a start date of September 1, 2008. Your registration fee of $300.00 will be deducted from your tuition.

Please note: Even if you have a child or children in St. Andrew's school K-8 and have completed that SMART enrollment form, you must complete a separate SMART form for Pre-School.
